Well, now the site’s finally in the right place. All the WordPress stuff’s in the root directory, so when anyone goes to leoncantor.com this is what they’ll see! As long as you shift-refresh or clear your cache, of course. Since this is now the main directory of the site, I’ve retired my Blogger blog. It was nothing special, really, just a couple of rants and musings. You may notice that the comics page is no longer functional. That was just a small hitch in the process of moving everything over. I’m researching this plugin simply named Webcomic, which might be a better option than that janky old ComicCMS thing I was using before.
I’ve also begun a new not-quite-daily drawing project- I’m pencil-sketching all of the major characters from the King of Fighters series, starting with the women. You may not believe it, but I used to get uncomfortable trying to draw female characters, for any number of psychological reasons. I never really figured it out, but over the past couple of years I’ve gradually gotten over the discomfort, and this is the perfect way to conquer it for good. I’m starting with some of the less fanservice-y women from the games so that by the time I get to the likes of Mai, Shermie and Angel, I’ll have had more practice. I’ll be adding the sketches to the art gallery here, so keep an eye out.
